Nirvanayatri offers "Iki," an organically certified (JAS) matcha. "Iki" is a rare single-origin (using tea leaves from a single field) authentic matcha, made with carefully selected organic tea leaves grown in Uji, Kyoto, a renowned matcha producing region.
Matcha from Uji, Kyoto, is characterized by its vibrant green color, rich umami and sweetness, and elegant "covered aroma," thanks to traditional "covered cultivation" and stone grinding by skilled artisans. Among the many matcha producing regions, it is known for producing matcha that is refined and mellow.
